We’re trying something a little different for our next Delightful Dining Extra Lunch! Join us on Monday, July 27, at 12:30 p.m. as we head to Firewater BBQ in Elmhurst. Firewater has multiple locations. Be sure to come to Elmhurst.
Firewater is a fast-casual restaurant where we’ll have tables reserved for our group. When you arrive, simply place your order at the counter or one of the self-service kiosks, then pick up your meal when it’s ready.
Firewater is known for its delicious barbecue and wide variety of meats and sides. Choose from favorites like ribs, pulled pork, brisket, or burnt ends, then complete your meal with tasty sides such as creamy coleslaw, mac and cheese, or bacon potato salad.
Can’t decide on just one meat? Try one of their combo platters featuring one, two, or three meats served with a side. You can even add a bacon sampler or tip sampler for a little extra flavor.
There are multiple locations. We will be in ELMHURST! Firewater is located at the Northeast corner of RT 83 and North Ave.
You will pay for you lunch when you order at the counter. There are no membership fees but there is a $5 service fee due upon arrival.

Our next Delightful Dining dinner will be held on Saturday, July 18th at my favorite Mexican restaurant, La Hacienda de los Fernandez on Lake Street in Addison.
The Fernandez family has created a wonderful collection of restaurants celebrating the art of Mexican cuisine. Their goal is to provide guests with a wide variety of authentic options, all prepared fresh on-site, including their homemade tortillas.
Join us at 5:30 PM for a Margarita, Sangria, or imported Cerveza before dinner. At 6:00 PM, we will be seated for dinner.
Choose from traditional favorites such as tacos, burritos, and enchiladas, or explore classic Mexican specialties including Chilaquiles, Chile Relleno, and Guisado de Puerco (pork stew).
They will accommodate separate checks. Please be patient as this takes longer to process. There are no membership fees but there is a $5 service fee due upon arrival.
